A VOCAL WARM UP WITH SANDI PATTY
After several months of many of us not singing, let’s think about singing again! I made a warm up video for our choir and thought I’d share it with you all. There’s nothing better than just singing a little bit every day to keep your voice strong. This warm up that I personally use is GREATLY influenced by my vocal teachers and coaches over the years. Thank you Greta Dominic, Mark Gilgallon and Diane Sheets.
CHOIR: Who would have ever thought, due to Covid-19, we would not be able to have choir practice or sing in the choir at Church for months on end? Not me - and I'm sure not you, either! Until we can officially meet again, we will continue rehearsing "at home."
You have homework....... We are going to keep rehearsing our Musical and other music which I will e-mail to you or post below on this page. Thank you for your continued faithfulness to the choir and to the Lord!
Do you have your "I AM" Musical Rehearsal CD and Black Music Folder at home with you?
If not, please come by the church, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (closed from 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch) and pick-up your CD and black music folder in the choir robe room! If you can't locate your black music folder or your CD, please click my e-mail address below and let me know; I will be glad to make you another copy. email@example.com

Month of October And every month therafter, until we meet together as a Choir Family, once again. Practice the songs that I e-mail to you every week. Sing each song and concentrate on the words and message of each song. Now, sing the songs again and let your heart and voice sing to God and praise Him.
Month of September Practice A Wonderful New Song: "God, You're So Good" Listen to the words and reflect on the goodness of God! (See the Listening Track and Sheet Music Above)
Months of July and August Continue to practice the "I AM" Musical pieces that you might be struggling with. Then, every Friday, when you receive the e-mail from me, use the music that I send to you as a musical devotion for the next week. Say the words out loud, listen to the message, and ask yourself these questions: "What do the words mean to me? How is God speaking to me about my life through the message of this song? Be honest with God and let Him have 1st place in your life!
Month of June During the month of June: Continue to practice each piece and think about the words that you are singing and the message it is specifically saying to YOU. In one or two sentences, please write down what each song means to you. We will share some of your comments, later.

Music Fun Fact:
This artist formerly led a choir while studying Child and Family Studies at Louisiana State University. She tried out for American Idol in 2010 and 2012. (The answer is on the bottom of this page!)
